Branson's New Attractions

Branson, Missouri, is such a fun place to go on vacation that many families come here year after year. Luckily, there is always something new going on in Branson every time you visit, and 2017 is no exception. This year, we've added several new attractions that are perfect for the thrill-seekers in your family!

Lovers of winter sports don't have to wait until it's cold outside to enjoy the slopes with the Snowflex, the newest attraction to hit the Branson Zipline. This incredible downhill tubing experience can accommodate up to 8 tubes at a time and will be the largest synthetic tubing run in the United States. Even better, you don't have to worry about this slope melting in the blistering Ozarks' summers-the synthetic material used to build the Snowflex can be used in even the hottest climates and is recognized in the industry as the closest replication of snow there is! Since the Snowflex can accommodate so many riders at once, this makes it the perfect destination for your large group or family reunion. Everyone will have fun zipping down the slope on the Snowflex!

The adventure junkies in your group will have a blast at the Runaway Branson Mountain Coaster, located on 80 acres of pristine forest on Branson's Highway 165. This nonstop thrill ride is the first Alpine coaster of its kind and what make it unique is that it is entirely powered by gravity. The area's rugged terrain is used to propel the coaster, sending riders careening down the mountain at speeds up to 30 miles per hour. Riders have control over their carts so, if flying down the mountain at breakneck speeds is not your thing, you can hit the brakes and just enjoy the scenery. Make sure to ask the friendly folks at the Runaway Branson Mountain Coaster about their future plans for the park; possible rides may include ziplines, zip coasters, ropes courses, and more.

For an adventure unlike any other, make sure to stop by Bigfoot on the Strip. This incredible entertainment complex is full of activities for people of all ages and ability levels. The first thing you'll notice about Bigfoot on the Strip is the massive Bigfoot Action Tower. This tower stands at over 200 feet and is the tallest point in Branson. The Bigfoot Action Tower features two thrilling rides that are sure to get your blood pumping. The Gravity Bomb is a freefall experience that features a state of the art braking system, assuring that your ride is smooth as you hurdle towards the ground! If going up is more your speed, then the Saddle Sling is for you. This saddle ride launches two riders into the air and allows them to fall, end to end, back to earth. If you'd prefer to keep both feet on the ground, Bigfooot Adventure Golf is just the thing for you. This 18-hole mini golf course is themed around the adventures of Bigfoot and is partially handicapped accessible. You can also tackle Bigfoot's Adventure Maze, a multi-level maze that includes underground tunnels, a spiral slide, a treehouse, and a daring leap off an Amish-made tower at the end. The Bigfoot Arcade is there for the gamer in your group, and the incredible 8DI Leadslinger Cinema lets you be a part of the movie with an experience that utilizes all your senses.

2017 is already shaping up to be an exciting year in Branson and, with all the new attractions coming to the city, your family won't have any trouble finding something new to do on your vacation. Make your plans to visit Branson today!
